Transparency
Zeeker is building a transparency program around enforcement, government demands, rights requests, publisher controls, automation, and data licensing.
What reports will cover
As volume permits meaningful publication without exposing people, Zeeker intends to report:
- content and account actions by policy area and detection source;
- user reports, trusted notices, appeals, reversals, and median handling time;
- illegal-content notices and statements of reasons;
- child-safety and intimate-image action in legally appropriate aggregate form;
- copyright notices, counter-notices, restoration, and repeat-infringer action;
- government requests, preservation demands, emergency disclosures, and accounts affected;
- privacy requests and outcomes;
- publisher opt-outs, corrections, removals, rights-signal blocks, and handling time;
- material public-content licensing categories and safeguards;
- automated moderation and recommender use; and
- significant outages or security incidents where disclosure is safe and lawful.
Recommender transparency
Recommendations may use content relevance, freshness, language, geography, engagement, social relationships, user preferences, source quality, diversity, and safety signals. Users can influence results through follows, blocks, mutes, community membership, location and topic preferences, and feedback. Zeeker does not promise chronological or neutral ranking.
Advertising transparency
If Zeeker shows paid promotions, they should be identifiable, state the sponsor, and provide relevant targeting and reporting controls. Zeeker will not use sensitive traits or minor data for unlawful targeting.
Limits
Reports may aggregate, delay, or omit information to protect reporters and victims, security, investigations, trade secrets, and legal restrictions. Zeeker will explain methodology and material changes when publishing measured reports.
