Children & Teen Safety

Zeeker is not directed to children under 13. A minimum-age statement is only one protection; Zeeker also assesses how each app may be accessed by children and what safeguards are proportionate.

Age and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher local age for independent consent. Where a valid parent or guardian authorization is legally required, the account may be used only after that requirement is met.

If Zeeker learns that an under-13 child created an account without valid authorization, we will take steps to restrict and delete it, preserving only what safety or law requires.

Teen safeguards

Depending on age and location, safeguards may include:

  • privacy-protective defaults and limits on discoverability or unsolicited contact;
  • no covered targeted advertising or sale/sharing of minor data;
  • reduced collection and retention;
  • age-appropriate explanations and reporting;
  • controls for sensitive recommendations and location;
  • proactive child exploitation, grooming, sextortion, self-harm, and bullying detection;
  • friction before sharing personal or intimate information; and
  • trained escalation and legally required reporting.

Zeeker assesses whether age assurance is necessary and seeks the least intrusive effective method. We do not ask for identity documents through a public form.

Parents and guardians

A parent or legal guardian may request access, correction, deletion, or account action where law gives that authority. Zeeker verifies the relationship proportionately and considers the teen’s own rights and safety.

Report a concern

Use the child-safety form. Do not upload, download, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material. Provide at least one exact Zeeker URL—or the exact HTTPS URL on a managed white-label community—and a factual explanation sufficient to locate and assess the concern, then make the form’s good-faith accuracy declaration.

You may report without giving your name or email. If you do not provide an email, Zeeker will not send an acknowledgment or follow-up message, so save the on-screen case reference. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Zeeker preserves and reports suspected child sexual exploitation to appropriate authorities where required.
